Notes On Configurable Shortcuts
The factory defaults for Live view actions are a starting point. In practice, photographers and photobooth operators often remap the record action to a wireless clicker button for hands-free operation.
The Button Mapping page lets you:
- assign any physical key, clicker key, or gamepad button to any live action
- create and name multiple mapping presets for different devices or venues
- test inputs live before using them in production
Additional notes:
- the configurable action set is
record, reset, toggle painting, snapshot, hide controls, andfullscreen - the same actions can be mapped to supported gamepad buttons, not only keyboard keys
F5is reserved and is not stored as a custom live-input mapping
