Overview
Sound is the capture-flow audio module used by Virtual.ink. It adds preset-based ticks, drones, risers, and a success chime across the countdown, capture, and processing phases.
What The Module Covers
The Sound module handles:
- sound-pack presets
- master volume and beat feel
- countdown cues
- capture cues
- processing cues
- success chimes
- quick preview playback for the active recipe

Phase Model
The module thinks in four stages:
- countdown
- capture
- processing
- success
A single preset can define the behavior of all four stages so the whole session feels consistent.
Saving
Sound settings save separately from the main app settings, so sound choices can stay consistent from one launch to the next.
