Events
Events lets operators group captures by activation, client, session, or production block. Every new dataset is filed under the current event, keeping work from different occasions cleanly separated.
Who Uses This
- Photobooth operators running multiple events per day who need clean separation between each booking
- Photographers organizing tethered sessions by client or project
- Studio operators grouping production runs by shoot date or project name
Creating an Event
- Open the Events page from the Delivery menu.
- Enter a title for the new event.
- Click Create.
The new event appears in the list and can be set as the current event immediately.
Current Event
One event is always marked as the current event. All new captures, recordings, and processed outputs are filed under this event.
To switch the current event, click on an event in the list and select "Set as Current." The change takes effect immediately for all new captures.
Managing Events
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create | Add a new event with a title |
| Rename | Change the title of an existing event |
| Hide | Remove an event from the active list without deleting it. Hidden events and their files remain on disk |
| Delete | Permanently remove an event. This deletes the event record but prompts about associated files |
| Set as Current | Mark an event as the active target for new captures |
Tips
- Create the event before the session starts so all captures land in the right place from the first recording.
- Use clear, descriptive titles (client name, date, occasion) to make cleanup easier after the event.
- Hide old events instead of deleting them if you might need the files later.
- The current event is visible in the app interface so operators always know where new captures are going.
