Assets
Assets is the shared file library for all reusable production files used by Process recipes and Effects watermark overlays. Upload, preview, and organize branding materials in one place.
Who Uses This
- Photobooth operators uploading event-specific branding (overlays with sponsor logos, intro clips, soundtracks)
- Photographers managing overlay templates for different client styles
- Studio operators maintaining a library of LUTs, intros, and outros for production workflows
Asset Categories
| Category | Accepted formats | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Overlays | PNG | Watermark and branding overlays composited on each frame |
| Video Overlays | MP4, MOV, WebM | Animated overlays composited on top of the output video |
| LUTs | CUBE | Color look-up tables for consistent color grading across outputs |
| Intros | MP4, MOV | Video clips prepended to the beginning of the output |
| Outros | MP4, MOV | Video clips appended to the end of the output |
| Soundtracks | MP3, WAV, AAC | Music tracks mixed into or replacing the output audio |
Uploading Files
- Select a category from the sidebar.
- Click the upload button.
- Choose one or more files matching the accepted file types for that category.
- The files upload and appear in the grid immediately.
Previewing and Managing
- Click an asset to see a preview panel with file details (name, size, upload date)
- Check asset usage to see which process recipes reference this file
- Delete an asset when it is no longer needed
Usage Warnings
When deleting an asset, the page shows which recipes currently reference it. Removing an asset that is still used by active recipes will cause those recipe steps to fail on the next render. Disable or update the affected recipe steps first.
Grid and List Views
Assets can be browsed in grid view (thumbnail previews) or list view (compact file listing). The view toggle is available in the toolbar above the asset grid.
Tips
- Upload assets before creating recipes so they are available in the pipeline step dropdowns.
- Use descriptive filenames. The filename is the primary identifier in recipe step selectors.
- Keep the library clean by removing unused assets after an event. This prevents clutter in the recipe editor.
- Asset changes refresh live across all connected clients.
